Belle Privé (Privée) means The Private Beauty- the brand was initially created for the Everywoman, those of us who rarely get the chance to see the real beauty in ourselves. We get so caught up in life and responsibilities that we seldom get the opportunity to celebrate who we really are.

Boudoir is something I believe every woman should do at least once in their lives. Whilst the thought of it to some seems daunting, let me reassure you that it will be one of the most empowering and liberating experiences of your life! 

Most women are reassured that as a female boudoir photographer I understand women, how they see themselves and their bodies and most importantly how they want to be photographed. My work is a long way from the world of ‘glamour’. My work attracts strong, independent women who are keen to have a photoshoot at a significant time in their life. Perhaps you need to reconnect with yourself, celebrate your new body, perhaps you have a milestone event coming up... The confidence and pride after a photoshoot will stay with you for a long time.

Who knew my career choice would be so incredibly rewarding... I worked with countless women who have had to undergo mastectomies and surgeries, women who have never felt pretty for one reason or another, or those with an abusive history and they come to me, not just for beautiful images of themselves but as a form of therapy. They learn to love themselves again. In fact, did you know that post-mastectomy therapy recommends booking a photoshoot?

I've had clients cry (in a good way), I've cried (in a sympathetic way). I love what I do and the effect it can have on women. Don't underestimate the power of a photoshoot, it is so much more than just images.
