What happens on a Boudoir PhotoShoot?
What happens on a shoot, doesn't stay on the shoot as I'm about to tell you exactly what to expect on the day.
My goal is not only to make you look incredible but to make you feel completely at ease during your photoshoot. Preparation is the key, as well as knowing what to expect.
Before the photoshoot itself, on booking, you will receive my Guide on what to bring and how to prepare, along with a checklist for the night before. You'll have access to a private area of the website where there is a font of advice and articles to have a read through. We'll also discuss how you want to be photographed including the styles you like.
On arrival at the studio, we'll have a chat about the session and take a look at what outfits you have brought with you. Next you'll will be pampered and preened by my professional make up artist whilst I prepare the studio for our shoot. The studio is warm and comfortable at all times and looks more like a (small!) New York loft apartment than a photography studio (look out for a Studio Tour Blog coming soon).
There is only ever you and I in the studio during the photoshoot itself and I will guide you through every pose to showcase your best bits and minimise any areas which aren't your favourite. Everyone comments on how relaxed the shoot is so even if you've never stepped foot in front of a camera before, your nerves will soon disappear and you'll ease into the shoot. We will even put on your favourite music too. You'll have time for outfit changes as well. After the shoot, still looking fabulous, why not make a night of it and hit the town?
Within 48 hours, you will receive a password protected online proofing gallery from which to choose your favourites - this is always the most difficult part for my clients! Your chosen images will then be edited to my usual high standard and sent over to you digitally within two weeks.
